Bloo is a dog that has an amazing story. This middle-aged canine was just a pup back in 2013 when a fire ravaged through the shelter where she was staying. The Knox Whitley Animal Shelter in the city of Kentucky, Illinois had caught fire. It was a devestating event that caused 29 cats to lose their lives.
One dog was also found dead after the blaze. Bloo was just a puppy who barely made it out alive. However, she did suffer some fire related injuries. Bloo had smoke inhilation sickness. The pup recovered fairly well and has been adopted by Cory Stringer and his family in Twin Falls, Idaho. Bloo now spends her days watching cartoons and hanging out with Mr. Cory Stringer who now writes children's books based on her life. A few titles include, "Night Night Bloo," and "Merry Christmas Bloo." The books are available in paperback or for the Kindle.
