The goose, who was stranded in a grassy patch near the highway tried to take off but couldn't get enough momentum to get over the cars coming towards him/her. The goose ended up falling into the street and running back to the safe, grassy area.
Robert Knepper is the son of a veterinarian, so of course he had to help the distressed goose! He spotted the goose near Main St. and the Terminal in Vancouver where he was shooting the Prison Break reboot. The goose, who was stranded in a grassy patch near the highway tried to take off but couldn't get enough momentum to get over the cars coming towards him/her. The goose ended up falling into the street and running back to the safe, grassy area. The trio of volunteers including Knepper, his wife Nadine, and a TransLink transit supervisor where able to contain the goose and get it to the emergency vet. The goose was eventually sent to the Wildlife Rescue Association in Burnaby.
