Ask anyone what Texas is known for and you’re sure to hear “Texas Beef,” as a common response. That is what makes the recent news of a Texas burger bar selling out of vegan burgers in the span of only three days so impressive! The Hopdoddy Burger Bar can’t seem to keep the Impossible Burger in stock because they are selling out so fast. |
The Hopdoddy Burger Bar actually has four Austin-based locations and all four have seen the same success. One location sold out the same evening they received the burgers, another location selling out after two days, and the last two locations sold out on day three. So, what is the “Impossible Burger,” and what makes it so popular? The Impossible Burger is a meat-less burger that mimics the taste and feel of real ground beef, so much so, that it actually appears to “bleed.” The product is produced by Impossible Foods who’s mission is “to make delicious meats that are good for people and the environment.”
